Councilor Julian M.L. Coseteng, top Councilor of the 3rd District of Quezon City, has never stopped in pursuing an intensive anti-rabies campaign in his district. The residents of Barangays Bayanihan, Old Balara and Escopa 3 were accordingly advised to avail of this free medical service with the end in view of protecting themselves as well as their dogs. The respective barangay officials ensured the smooth conduct of this worthwhile activity for the month of January 2011.
The anti-rabies vaccination was conducted in front of the Barangay Hall of Barangay Bayanihan where 102 dogs were treated. In Barangay Old Balara, the second batch of dogs that have been treated that month numbered to 74 at Area-1, Luzon Avenue, a depressed area.
