As a gesture of gratitude to his constituents, Councilor Julian M.L. Coseteng of the 3rd District of Quezon City instigated the conduct of a medical mission in Barangay Silangan to celebrate in advance his special day with some constituents at the Barangay Hall on September 5, 2010.
The residents of Barangay Silangan and other neighboring areas gathered in front of the Barangay Hall to avail of this free medical treatment. Most of them came the depressed areas of said barangay. About 246 persons have been attended and given some medicines.
A team of volunteer doctors from the World City Medical Center in Aurora Boulevard, Quezon City rendered free services to the patients. The barangay officials and the residents were very appreciative of Coseteng's concern about their health.
